As a small and deliberately selective independent literary press, we take on only the books we can properly champion.

Our submissions guidelines remain available below for reference. We will announce when submissions reopen.

For authors and agents who have already submitted: all work already received remains in our review queue. Response times may be longer than originally indicated as we continue our editorial assessment.

Friesian Publishing is primarily interested in literary fiction, memoir, and creative nonfiction of intellectual depth and substance. We encourage prospective authors to review our submission requirements carefully before sending work for consideration.
